Centralia Foundation Park        

The third weekend of August the park welcomes up to 40 hot air balloons and over 20,000 visitors to enjoy Balloon Fest, an annual Centralia event. The uniqueness of Foundation Park is a great benefit to Balloon Fest. The park provides an ideal location for the public to get up close and view the balloons as they take to the skies.  The balloonist like the setting, we have balloonists that come back every year just because it’s such a nice environment.

 

In the center of the event, Catfish Pond acts as a reflecting pool to the colorful, gentle giants. Many use this weekend to reunite with friends and families who return to Centralia. Balloon Fest also attracts visitors from literally all over the world, who make the Balloon Fest part of their summer travel destinations.
