36 HOLE DISC GOLF COMPLEX

Foundation Park is home to a 36 hole Disc Golf Course Complex, which now ranks with some of the top courses int the nation.  This sport is played similar to “ball’ golf - however, instead of the golf ball and clubs, it is played with a disc (like a frisbee), that is thrown to a basket which has chains looped above that help divert the disc into the basket. A parking lot and information shelter is located east of the Sentinel Shelter and contains maps of the park and the disc golf course.

The Recreational Course is designed for the beginner or family out for a casual round.  These 18-holes or 'baskets' are located on the east side of the main park road, starting near the park informational shelter.

The Championship Course is created for the advanced player.  This 18-basket course is laid out on the west side of the main park road and offers a challenging game including creek crossings, hillsides, woodland and meadows along with a wide variety of natural obstacles to play around. Basket number 1 tees off just to the north of the Sentinel shelter and meanders through the park's east side.
